You enrich contemporary sculpture with your originality and breadth of your subjects and sculptural solutions. A broad-minded creative personality, a world-class sculptor, you have been successfully heading the Sculpture Department of the Russian Academy of Arts for many years.

Your high professional qualities, pedagogical talent, wealth of practical experience and ability to meet the challenges of our time have earned you the respect and trust of your students. You are recognised in Russia and elsewhere in the world, and have been awarded high honours and titles. Your works are well represented in major museum collections in our country and abroad.
